1. When does your kids' school start? We don't start school until 9-5, however marching band camp started this morning and we have TWO home football games before school even starts. 2. What was your most memorible moment this summer? This just happened this weekend. My 10 year old daughter was at the neighbors after dark (which she wasn't supposed to be) as she was running to come home, she ran between two trees that had a clothes line strung up. Yup, it cought her right in the mouth and threw her flat on her back. Thankfully she wasnt knoced out and didn't have a concusion, but she did knock out one permanent tooth and she has another one that is now very loose!!! I have to now take her in for xrays to see if there are tooth fragments left, if so, that oral surgery (and big bucks) 3. Whats one thing that you wanted to do this summer but didnt get to? I knew we weren't going on any big vacations this summer. Our Michigan Adventure trip is scheduled for next weekend, that's our summer trip. But I wanted to get every box unpacked so there weren't a stack in my room and I didn't get it done. I've had time, just been lazy and didn't want to deal with it. 4. Do you have leaves that are changing colors? Yup, we noticed for the first time that there some trees turning colors already. Fall is my favorite time of year, so I'm looking forward to it. 5. When did you/are you starting your Christmas shopping? I don't like to even THINK about it this early in the year. I really don't get started until almost Thanksgiving time. My DH doesn't get his bonus until the second week in December, so we do a lot of lay away until then.

1. When does your kids' school start? Dont have kids. 2. What was your most memorible moment this summer? Riding horses 3 times a week or more...and still doing it and looking for a horse of my own!!! 3. Whats one thing that you wanted to do this summer but didnt get to? I really wanted to go to Mackinac Island before the end of this month...that's not out of the question just yet, but if I do go it will have to be with friends who have 3 dogs and there is lots of walking involved and not alot of shopping.....but the exercise would be good!!! We may go early September still. 4. Do you have leaves that are changing colors? Not yet...I'm not ready for that part of the year yet!!! 5. When did you/are you starting your Christmas shopping? I just send cards and make candy or food. Having a small family and we rarely get together on Christmas Day because I work....I just make presents.

Mackinac Island is great in September. After Labor Day the hotels are cheaper and there's less people there. I loved going in the fall.

1. When does your kids' school start? They start on September 5th 2. What was your most memorable moment this summer? We took a vacation to Hawaii and there were many great moments but one in particular was snorkeling and seeing sea turtles and a monk seal. My kids and my husband and I thought that was so cool! We also saw lots of fish we recognized from Finding Nemo. 3. Whats one thing that you wanted to do this summer but didnt get to? I meant to clean out my kid's drawers and closets to make room for new school clothes. Oh well...I can do that when they are back in school! 4. Do you have leaves that are changing colors? Not yet but I've been on the lookout for them. I love the change in seasons Michigan has (I'm not from here...can you tell?) and I always look forward to fall. 5. When did you/are you starting your Christmas shopping? I do most of my shopping in November but occasionally I'll see something that makes me think of someone on my gift list and I'll buy it right away. I know if I don't I'll want it later and won't be able to find it. My husband and I come from very large families so there's lots of gift giving going on between us all.

When did you/are you starting your Christmas shopping? NOT TIL THE CHECK IS IN MY HANDS & THAT WON'T HAPPEN UNTIL LATE NOVEMBER

1. When does your kids' school start? Hard to believe in less than a week...August 28th 2. What was your most memorible moment this summer? Taking the kids to Michigan's adventure for the first time. 3. Whats one thing that you wanted to do this summer but didnt get to? Purge the house of clothes. We have so many between my clothes running from 4-16 and all the clothes the boys have grown out of. School has taken up to much of my time this summer to get to it all. 4. Do you have leaves that are changing colors? Nope 5. When did you/are you starting your Christmas shopping? I am always Christmas shopping, I just have to remember where I put the gifts and who I bought them for. Positive vibes to all and happy Monday Megan

Whats one thing that you wanted to do this summer but didnt get to? Have TT and heria repair. I was at the hospital all hooked up to the IV ready to go, my labs came back and my Iron was to low. 4. Hi everyone! 1. When does your kids' school start? All of my kids are grown, and my little granddaughter just turned 2 yesterday, so I don't have to worry about that at this point in my life 2. What was your most memorible moment this summer? It would have to be the arrival of my youngest daughter and granddaughter from England for 3 weeks, and the marriage of my eldest daughter during the time they were here! 3. Whats one thing that you wanted to do this summer but didnt get to? Cedar Point! 4. Do you have leaves that are changing colors? Not yet, and I'm really not ready for that either!! 5. When did you/are you starting your Christmas shopping? I'm going to do some lay-a-way this year...but we tend to be last minute shoppers. We know what we want and do a lot of "scoping out"...but the money never seems to be available until close to the very end. Peace to you all! Lizzie B
