One week away!!

My surgery is only 1 week away!!! I am so excited. The ladies here at work threw a surprise party for me last Thursday and they made my FAVORITE FOODS. It was wonderful!! They also got me a huge basket filled with things from Bath & Body Works, slippers, pajamas, a robe, and craft things to keep me busy during recovery at home. I cried like a big baby! I find that I am not scared or nervous...just emotional but that could be from a lot of different things..ie moving this past weekend, that time of the month...you know how that can be . Anywho..I am moved and almost completely unpacked. I am ready for surgery!! I have my EGD today and my pre-testing on Friday and that's it. I'll be ready to move on over to the losers bench. Stacey

It sounds like you work with a GREAT bunch of people, Stacey. At one week before surgery, I was at peace and excited. I'm twelve days out and feeling pretty darn well right now. I'll be rooting for you! Julie

Good for you. Congrats on having the surgery. Are you going to Harper? Who is your doc? I will keep you in my prayers and seeing you on the losing side.

I am having my surgery done by Dr. Zeni at St Mary Mercy in Livonia. They are wonderful there. Thanks for the thoughts and prayers. Stacey
