OT: Your Profession

Ok, how can I possibly top KP's answer???? First, I am a mom to two boys. My oldest is severely mentally and physically impared, so that is job #1.....taking care of his health and arranging all of the doc visits, therapy, etc. Second, I work as a receptionist/slave at a metal framing company. The job is awful, but if my son needs me, they are so understanding and let me have time off. Third, I'm a 3/4 time student at Schoolcraft College. My official major is Office Information Systems, but I don't know if I will stay with that.

I am a manager for McDonalds. I used to work there when I was larger but just went back after being gone for 3 years. I like being around people. I do everything at the store, I make food, control food waste and costs, control labor, help hire, manage the million dollar restaurant (HAHA), and deal with customers and their complaints. Sometimes people think McDonalds is like a 4 star restaurant. I also go to school part time at Baker College for my Early Childhood Education degree, I am a housewife and next year after we travel to China to get our daughter I will be a Mom. After our little one comes I will probably be a stay at home Mom until she is at least 5. I have a cat now who thinks my job is to be her keeper, feeder, clean up after her person. Suzanne

See how much you remember. I posted a couple of months ago that we are adopting from China. I update the boards every once in awhile. Unfortunately DH and I cannot have kids. So we are going to be blessed with an angel from China.

First for most and MOST importantly I'm a Mom to three darling children. But I also am a Real Estate Agent with our local Century 21 office. Anyone need a new house!?!?!? Lastly I am a HUGE community volunteer... from running Gala's and auction fundraisers to PTO and hands-on volunteer work. I also have a PASSION for politics, so I love this time of year and working on campaigns. ~ Erin

I work for a radio station in Livingston County (WHMI). I am the office manager. I take care of all of the business side. My list is to long and responsibilities to long to list. I do everything and am in charge of most things except the broadcasting side. They have their own manager. Fran

I repair, build, install computers etc. I'm also very experienced in technical support (help desk) and do web design. I've got an AA in business admin concentrating on accounting. AND I need work if anyone knows of any openings here in the Detroit area. oh yeah, and I make one heck of a cup of coffee or shot of espresso.

It's so fun to see what everyone does! I am a Deputy Clerk at a township office. Pretty much a glorified secretary. I do accounts payable, payroll, help collect taxes, etc., but my primary job is voter registration and elections. I love my job and the people I work with! I'm very lucky, I know! I also host karaoke on the weekends at a club here in Houghton Lake. Road trip anyone???? Oh, and I'm a mom of 3 beautiful children 25, 23 & 21. I guess they're not "children" anymore, but they'll always be my babies!! Theresa
