New to Forums....

Hello all, My name is Steve Deitch and I live in Caro, Mi. I've been on OH for a while, but am new to the forums as I just came across them. I had my Open RNY on Aug. 15 and as of now am down 70 pounds. It has been kind of a rough journey, I've been dealing with pain at times and I get exhausted quite easily. I know it will be worth it in the long run. I have a post up on my profile for pics. I started out at 613 lbs. and have dropped down to 543. I can't wait to hit my goals which are -100 by Oct. and -150 by Nov. Then my biggie is to get down to 200 - 225 which will make it around 400 lbs. of weight loss. I had my surgery at Hurley Bariatric in Flint, Mi. and would recommend them to anyone. Hope you all are doing well and I will try to keep you updated. Your friend, Steve

Steve - Congrats on your surgery!!!!! What an incredible weight loss you've had this month!!!!! I live up in your neck of the woods. Actually, I'm north more in Sebewaing. I just thought I'd let you know that there is a group of wls people who meet in Saginaw for lunch on Wednesdays. Next week we'll be meeting at the mall at 11:30. There's a guy there, Mike, who'd could be a lot of help for you. If you want to join us, everyone is always welcome!! Laurie

Hi, Steve! Congrats and welcome! I had my surgery at Hurley LAST august. I do agree with you regarding Hurley. They were great and I would recommend them, too (and have!). Who was your surgeon? Mine was Dr. Farhan. Keep up the good wor****ep us posted! Again, Welcome and congrats! Tina
