I'm really glad to have this board, don't tell anyone on the other boards that i said this but you guys rule, there's so much more support here compared to the other boards i've visited. You've definitely helped me feel a bit better. i'm still kinda daunted by the idea of dragging this j-tube around but mostly i'm looking up at the good side of things today and feeling the gratitude as i should. i am certain that i get much more depressed when i take the dilaudid for pain and am trying to avoid it as much as possible. thanks for all the support and advice. mucho gratitude to Paul and Kevin. you guys rock. And of course Melanie. the behind the scenes :ninja: support from all of you is incredible. :thumbsup: Mel, you're the best. :love:

Hey Jay- Glad you are doing OK..depression does suck. I get bouts every now and then but then w ho doesnt? Keep up the healing and congrats! I am hoping to get my TT next year sometime. SHannon

i just pooped for the first time since surgery and it made blood squirt out my belly button. how could i be depressed with stuff like that going on?

nah, Kevin's a great guy. And he's a pretty good nurse. Mel and i are taking it easy tonight, we tortured Dakota with a boring indie movie and now we're about to eat some steel cut oats for fiber. *yawn*
