Hey everyone! I see Eileen posted already but thought I would add to it! Judy is offically a loser I have to tell you....I arrived at the hospital today at about 9:00 a.m. and I have to say that Judy was the most CALM person I have every seen before surgery! I could not believe how ready she was. SHE ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!! She finally made it to surgery at about 10:20 and from then on the waiting began. Gary and I sat until about 12:00 when they told us that it was going to be another 3 hours because of the damage inside from her hernia surgery. Apparently and I hope I get this right...Judy's esophagus (sp) and stomach were pushed up where they didn't belong. So, they had to fix that first. At 2:00 they called and said it was going to take another 2 hours because they still hadn't started the stomach surgery yet. They had been working on the repairs. This poor woman!!!!! But, all went well. They are hoping she can go home tomorrow! I too forgot to ask if she had RNY or DS. opps sorry! I will let you all know in the morning. Judy was very tired tonight when I spoke to her! Please keep her in your prayers and move on over we have a new loser in the house!!!!! Hugs, Diane

HI Ladies, Myself and Apple Pie went and visited Judy tonight, she was doing pretty darn good for just getting up to her room. We got a few laughs out of her, and she was doing some talking. I was giving her ice chips, which she so much was enjoying. She said with her dry cotton mouth, that she could spit cotton balls across the room. haha She has such a sweet personality, and her husband Gary was a hoot. We enjoyed meeting both of them, what a great pair they are. We had some great laughs, got our picture taken with Judy, now weather she remembers any of this tomorrow will be another story. We all know how that is, don't we. Thanks so much for posting for her....she is an official loser...YEAH... Hugs... Cheryl
