200 pounds lost
I don't post here very often, but this was my first board, and many of you have been so helpful during my journey, so I wanted to share.
As of this morning, I have lost 200 pounds. I am one pound away from my personal goal of 150. I am 5'5", and at that weight will just have a "normal" BMI. I never thought I would reach this goal, and am so grateful to my surgeon for this second chance at life.
I had an extended tummy tuck five weeks ago, and with that have dropped the last 20 pounds to goal. I am slowly recovering, and look forward to the day when I can exercise again. Right now I still don't have the physical stamina that I did pre-tt, in fact, I still feel pretty weak. I know that will come back soon.
So, to all of you newbies and pre-ops out there, this surgery will give you the tool you need. It will take a great amount of hard work and dedication, but it will work.

Thanks, Judy, and congratulations to you, too, for being on the loser's bench. I remember that day very well. What you've read here, probably thousands of posts, the rules always stay the same. Protein, water, and exercise. No white stuff, potatoes, pasta, rice, refined flour. Follow these rules, and you will succeed. Fight the head hunger, and feed the body what it needs. Rules for life. I'm sure you will do great. Few of us are perfect at following these rules every single day, I know I'm not, but it's not one day, it's the lifetime.

Thanks guys, you are sweet.
Kevin, I don't know how often you get called sweet here on the board with all that finger pulling stuff, but you always have been encouraging, thanks.
Mary Jo, you are so close to goal, I'll bet you'll be there soon.
Wendy, my tt definitely put me at my goal. With so much weight lost, the panni alone accounted for 8 pounds in my case. I'm sure you'll hit the double century, too.
Shawn, 29 days to the loser's bench, Kevin always moves over and makes sure there's room.
Katie, I won't be at the November A2 meeting, I'm heading up north for the weekend with friends, but I hope to be at the December meeting. I'm looking forward to meeting others from the area.
Getting ready for another day of protien and water, and a little, little exercise tomorrow.
