200 pounds lost
Incredible Debra!!! I admire you so much!! I have fallen on and off the wagon foodwise lately, and what you said made so much sense to me....back to basics. I never reached my goal. I was 20 lbs away from my personal goal, 30 from the dr's goal, when I had my tummy tuck, but that only took 5 lbs off, so I still had some to go, but never got there. Now I'm up some, but posts like yours really help me! I'm so glad you shared today. Congratulations on an incredible milestone! Hugs, Theresa
Debra: oh my gosh---how great! You should be so proud of yourself. I had lost 140 then relaxed and gained back 30. Had a tummy tuck and figured that would take some off....maybe 3 pounds. Anyway, I am back on track and while I still have more to lose, I am losing again. Your story is an inspiration. Don;t you just feel so much better? That is what I am so amazed at.
God Bless you
Tracey
Debra i understand how proud you are. I started out at 360 and am currently at 155. I could have never imagined how great i would feel and look, and i too am so very thankful to have changed my life. I haven't even begun the process for my tt, but it will come in time. Congrats on such an awesome job!
Come join us on sundays at great lakes mall to walk when you're feeling better. I'd love to meet you.
Hugs
Linda
Okay, y'all, I'm starting to blush now. I'm heading off to the store to see if I can find some clothes that fit. I need everything, from underwear to outerwear. Getting to this point is a milestone for me, and I hope it will keep me on straight path to maintainence.
Theresa, I've been following your posts since before my surgery, and I've always admired your honesty with the ups and downs of this process. I know you have been struggling over the past year, but have the tenacity to keep working at it.
Tracy, it can be done, it's always those darn basics, isn't it?
Chris, good luck to you as you begin your journey, one step at a time.
Kori, getting in your protein will get easier for you as your pouch heals, and you find what foods work for you. I still drink a protein drink every single morning, and I enjoy it. It's just part of my daily routine, and I use it as a relaxing time.
Leeanne, wow, you have lost a lot of weight, good for you. Keep doing what you are doing and you'll get to your goal.
Linda, yes, someday I should get to the mall and meet you, too, you are an inspiration to us here on the board. I think I read your profile several times as a pre-op.
Well, in summary, I found the way to lose my weight. Now, I know I will have to continue to learn how to keep it off, something I've never done before in my life.
Have a great day, guys,
Debra M.
