HOME FROM DR APPOINTMENT

Ok May I have a drum roll please??????????????????????????????????????????? Ok first I saw the nut and got my new diet for the next month. I can have soft foods!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Omg yes I can have real food again!!!!!!!!! Ok then after that I got to see the Dr. He told me my incisions looked great and asked how I was feeling...Told him like a million bucks!!! He said great!!!! Then he asked me what solid food I tried since surgery. I told him none!!! He said really??? I said yes because it wasn't on my sheet of protein drinks....And he said wow!!! I was the first one that hadn't tried any solid food before it was time!!!! I asked him if he weighed that chunk of fat that he took out of my chest and he said no. But it was 6 mm!!!! Wow!!! That is about the size of a grapefruit and a melon!!!! He said it was like taking out a baby!!!!! Omg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then I was weighed in........................... And here goes.............................. Are you ready for this???? Are you sure?????????????? I am now down to 297 pounds!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have lost 12 pounds since the 17th and grand total since July 37 pounds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yahooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!! And I am sitting here eating some clam chowder soup!!! Yeah real soup!!!!! Omg I think I died and went to heaven!!!!!! Love you all and great big hugs to all of you!!!! Judy

Judy, You are doing so well! Good for you for following the Dr.'s diet. Clam Chowder that I pureed was my first real food after surgery also. I know you will continue to do well and I do wish you well. take care Janice.
