Graphic pics of before and after Abdominoplasty: WARNING!!!!!!!

WARNING: there are two sets of before and after photos of me taken side by side.... one is before abdominoplasty about a week ago (October 20th) and one taken yesterday am after my first shower (October 29th). the post op one is HIGHLY GRAPHIC AND SHOWS ALOT OF BRUISING AND SWELLING BUT........................you can tell amazingly the new me. I'm only requesting if you DO NOT have a weak stomach, then go look at them if you wish and tell me what you think. If you have a weak stomach, forget it for now. HIGHLY ADVISED THAT!!!! Stacey, Thank you for posting the pictures. It was very brave of you to share this with us. And, you look GREAT! Hopefully, when all the meds and anethesia run through you, you'll feel more like yourself (only skinnier!) Best of luck to you in your recovery. Brenda

Thanks SO much for sharing pics Stacey! It really helps trhose of us that are on our way there next. Looking at those pics will hopefully make you realize how WONDERFUL your decision to go through with it was. You look great (swelling and brusing and all) and I know you will soon be proud of yourself-especially when none of your pants fit because they are all TOO BIG!! Jennifer

that is truly amazing......what a difference it will make in your life. did insurance pay for your surgery? i have insurance but it won't pay for any plastics......thanks for sharing....kathy

Thank you all. Mom is doing an amazing job so far. SPECIAL THANKS TO JUST JANE. I COULD NOT HAVE COME THIS FAR WITHOUT HER HELP AND ENCOURAGEMENT THE PAST 2 DAYS AND WHILE IN THE HOSPITAL ---BEING THE AMAZING STRENGTH CARRIER SHE IS AND HOW WONDERFUL HER HOSPITALITY IS. SHE TRULY IS JUST AMAZING. MY MOM AND I THANK YOU AND LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU THIS SATURDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am in my new pink pajamas, and Mom spent the morning cleaning and is off to Meijer to shop for necessities. One thing I notice is that each day, as Carey said ,.,,I get better. The pain gets better, and the ability to function gets better. I promise solemnly with my honor to follow Dr DiNicks orders and to not lift anything or do anything to jeopardize my recovery. I am in shock when I see those pictures----- it was something I was not going to do but being the person I am, sharing them for those of you to see what I went through and how I am now, perhaps will encourage you do take on the same. and, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR DINICK TO DO IT. TAKE IT FROM ME FIRST HAND, HE AND THE BARIX STAFF ARE MAGICAL, AMAZING, WONDERFUL PEOPLE. Thanks -- keep those emails and posts coming...i'm living on my laptop right now. hugs Stacey

All I can say is OMG!!!!!! What a trasformation. I had no idea the amount of change you were going through. WoW!!!!! Amazing!!!! Incredible!!!!! OMG!!!!! Can you tell I am amazed.... LOL... Stacey all I can say is WOWWW. That is a big difference. Again thanks for sharing with the rest of us. I'm just 6 months out and I am already considering a tummy tuck. And seeing that helps me alot. Dayja
