I MAY HAVE TO HAVE MY SURGERY IN DETROIT

I may have to have my surgery in detroit.. i don't really have much of a support system in my family or with friends.. This may be a weird request.. but I think I may need someone to help me for the first 5 or 7 days while I stay in my hotel room in Detroit.. nothing too gross.. just to help me stand and sit and get my meals straight!!!! :'( anyone willing? and able? P.S. I don't have a date for the surgery as of yet.

Who is doing your surgery? I personally can't come to detroit and help ya out, but really you won't need much and there probably won't be any meals to worry about. if you need i can send my number and help you out over the phone. Hugs Linda

Thank you two soo much. I would much rather do stuff on my own anyway.. as my family is not really going to support me in this decission.. I'll be all alone recovery and all.... LORD HELP ME.. lol.. d'ah well.. I need to do this!!!!!

i was by myself after my surgery and did just fine. i was worried but it turned out well. so if you can get someone to help you, great, but if not, don't worry, you'll be okay. it's doable. very much so.
