Prayers for Kathy S. and Post-op Tips, Please

Dear Fellow Michigan OH Message Board Readers: Prayers today for Kathy S. from Ludington as she undergoes Lap-Band insertion @ Barix in Ypsilanti today, please! I am right behind her - have my pre-op tomorrow and Lap-Band surgery on 11/14. Can hardly wait to begin my new life. Any tips about the first few weeks post-op are appreciated....especially about resuming exercise. Right now I am riding my stationary bike for 30 min/day with heart rate of about 120. I am hoping that I can simply continue that! Also, don't forget to vote today -- are we not fortunate to live in a country that affords us that privilege? Laurie G.
