Well, I've been very quite....just counting down until Nov. 28th. Although I have not made many posts, I wanted you guys to know that I read this board everyday, and have learned a lot through your experiences (good and bad). I also have made many notes from the information that is given regarding recovery, diets, and things to pay attention to. I'm trying not to allow myself to get excited, just in case something happens, and the hospital calls and cancels me at the last minute. I want to thank everyone that has sent me well wishes That means a lot. I have a question though, I've started my pre-surgery diet and today I am on "full liquids". I have been to 3 supermarkets and cannot find strained soups. Where have you found this? Again thanks for the well wishes!! Janie

I think that you have to strain them yourself. I found that Healthy Choice Mushroom soup (1 can) lasted me the whole 2 wks of liquid. Same with the chicken broth. Good luck with your surgery. Jeanne

Janie, I want to wish you luck and a speedy recovery as you begin your new life. I head to the table on Thursday and feel as though I am getting a new lease on life. Looking forward to seeing you on the "loser's bench" and will keep you in my prayers on Tuesday. Karen

You have to make it yourself. I used Campbell's chicken and beef soups broth rather than the kind you buy. I would cook it and skim off two ounces and add an ounce of water. I strained the others myself. You'll be fine. BB
