Hi Kids! On December 20th I will be conducting our annual Holiday Jam at Clawson High School Auditorium at 7:30 pm. The school is located one block north of 14 mile just west of Livernois (main) Ave. On this concert we invite anyone who plays a band instrument to join the high school band on stage as we read through a bunch of holiday tunes in a casual environment. The dress is casual so tuxedos or uniforms are not necessary. The range of difficulty will be from very easy middle school music to advance high school literature. Play what you can and sit out when the notes get to be to fast! Or do what I do and start singing! We ask only that you bring a canned food product to be donated to a food bank with the help of the Good Fellows organization. Whether you care to play along or just want to listen in please join us in helping out a little this holiday season. And please bring as many friends and family as you can. We can seat about 140 on stage and 400 in the audience. Thanks, BB (kp)

Kevin, This sounds like so much fun! I am going to try to bring my son (and his baritone)! I'll let you know if we're going to be able to make it. Thanks for the invite. Brenda

Hey KP, My daughter is learning the clarinet. She told me she can hold a note the longest in her class (she's on the swim team) and she got the highest grade in her class. She's so proud of herself! I'm really trying to encourage her/her teacher is strongly recommending that she pursues an instrument. I thought it was pretty cool. She's only 12 though, she's in grade 7. She might be a little shy for something like this. Sounds like fun though. Take care, Carey
