Not losing my hair...I'm pulling it out!!

I was given a tentative surgery date of December 4th in October pending insurance approval. I have been checking off/ on waiting to see what happens with my approval. My surgeon's staff has kept me well informed and I have nothing but the upmost respect and kind words about them. My problem is ...I have to recieve a g/f filter...which must be implanted at least 5 days before surgery..this now changes my surgery date to be around the 18th....however if my insurance company hasn't responded by next week..my surgery wont be until January! My surgeon is sending another letter to my insurance company...to pressure them to make a decision. I just feel like pulling out my hair...since I've already bitten off my nails!!!

Rhonda, you may be right that your surgery will not be December 4th but I am sure it will be soon. It is not easy going through the insurance wait, and depending on them to come through with their part. Just stay focus and you will be there before you know it. It may be a better idea to have the surgery after Christmas. I hope you find out soon as the not knowing is the worst. Take care, Janice
