Blodgett Spectrum in Grand Rapids?

Does anyone know if I can bring my laptop computer with me to the hospital? Will I have internet access at all? My hubby just asked me about it and I told him I didn't know, but I knew a few people who might know Thanks!!!

I don't know about your question, but when I was in the hopital I turned my phone off and was so out of it I couldn't do anything. I had lapropscopy and was only in the hospital 24 hours, so I didn't need to take my laptop. I would think that the laptop would be more of a hinder to you than a convience. Janice

I don't know about a laptop but I was allowed to use my cell phone in the room. I really didn't feel much like being on the computer or much else since I was trying to get my water and exercise in. Why don't you go on their website or give them a call. I'm sure they will be happy to answer the question.

They have wireless internet in the hospital because all the charting is done on computers in the hospital, I am not sure if they allow other people to use labtops on floors or not. You would want to call the hospital and check to see what the policey is for outside computers. Tricia
