Holy cow. I'm 5 weeks post op today. The time has FLOWN by. (now that I'm off the hard drugs!!!) In the past 5 weeks, I've dropped about 16 lbs, I'm wearing size 8 tops and size 12 or 14 jeans depending on who makes them. I'm healing great, a little leakage but Dr. DiNick said it was "ok". The incision is pencil thin, and looks great. No redness, and my swollen feet are normal again so I don't have to worry about Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade 2008 anymore... Feeling good, heading back to work next week 'part time' tues-fri, then full time on saturday. ( my work schedule is Tues-Sat)...am looking forward to being back at the 'helm'. Just one thing that I can't seem to kick, is the nightmares or bad dreams. I'm wondering if the anesthesia is still a trace in my system, or, if perhaps its the adjustment of being post op. I don't always have them, seems like I wake up fidgeting and whining. (which I do plenty of during the day) Been an interesting ride so far, and I can't wait to see how things look in 6 months. By then, who knows? I'm hoping to hit the low 130's by April or sooner, and maybe higher 120's by summer. Weight wise. As for size, who knows?????????????????????? Stacey W 310/151

Some skinny, horse-loving lady is bragging. And who can blame her?
