Dizzy Spells?
Yesterday I didn't feel quite right and last night I was a dizzy. I was out shopping and fell to the ground. I am eating and getting all my protein in. When I weighed myself this morning the scale said I lost 4 lbs since yesterday. Could this have caused the dizzy spells? I had been stuck at the same weight for about a week and then this sudden drop in weight. I was thinking they might be related.

Stacey,
I use to get "tunnel vision", and hypoglycemic attacks.
it's from the low sugar. my wls doc said eat more, and do more protein.
since we don't eat sugar, low blood sugar could be the cause of your dizziness. I'm not sure, don't consider this medical advice, but check with your doctor on your sugar level. or test it yourself.
if it is too low, you might need to figure out how to raise it.
This is not medical advice, just an idea and what was going on with me.
good luck.....

It could be the water. It is so hard for me to ge****er in. I hate water. Crystal Light is just gross. Watered down juice is gross. I am complete sick of iced tea. I am really having a hard time. I don't think I even drank 20 oz of anything yesterday. I know that's bad. I need to work on that.

I agree about the fluids being a pain, but dizziness is the indicator that I haven't had enough. Fuze makes four flavors of sugar free, Sobe does also but be careful to only get the ones that say South Beach on them. I saw some new barely flavored water at Kmart tonight. I've just gotten hooked on unsweetened Chai, but I have to look for the decaf as well.
I have still trouble getting up to the mark on water, but it got better when I could get some real swallows in. Just after four months, I think.
Make sure u call your doctor...I had the same thing when I was 3 months post-op( I am now almost 4 years now). I was in the mall and things started to "close in on me", I had to get out and get some air. I was dizzy, broke out into a sweat and it was terrble. It lasted for months and really only happened when I was out in public.
My doctor said it was "panic attacks". It finally went away and I started to feel better. I was never so scared in my life!
Best of luck
