It's been a year and. . .
although I have about 40 more pounds to lose, I was looking at moving onto my next phase - reconstruction.
However that is now postponed as I just received an early Christmas present. After 11 years of trying and praying, I'm pregnant! It's SOOOOOO weird, I'm still trying to
wrap my mind around it. I'm thrilled but I know that I must stay on top of my nutrition now more than ever!
Have a very Merry Christmas everyone!!!

In the Zoo and minus 160 pounds
I see the Happy
placed something special in your life, and I hope and pray that this new little life grows great and strong!!! I'm very happy for you and hope that you just take one day at a time....and enjoy the ride.
I am also proud of your accomplishment and happy surgiversary....I am not far from my goal...have also dropped 166lbs now, and recovering from my abdominoplasty fairly well, with some upcoming revisions/repairs in April 2007...which is fine.
Do me a favor, promise me, when it's time for reconstruction, go see Dr. Vincent DiNick at Barix. He is a true perfectionist, and I highly recommend him and his work.
Hugs to the new MOMMIE TO BE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAYYYYYYYYY

Thank you Stacey! I'm not exactly thrilled with the "nausea" ride but the rest is great. We have to work to get all our nutrients in and now my stomach doesn't even want to think of food.
As to Dr. DeNick, I don't think he's on my insurance of approved docs . . . I've heard a lot of good things about his work though. You're doing great btw!

OH MY GOSH! Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My husband and I have started discussing the possibility of having another child once I get my year out clearance - which isn't until May 8th....but what a Christmas blessing!
Do you have other children?
How are you feeling?
Do you know where I could go to find information about post RNY pregnancy?
CONGRATS AND MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
