So what did you get today?

Okay, I actually got mine in the wee hours of the morning after we got home from midnight mass. Hubby gave me a new diamond ring that didn't even have to be sized up. It is one of those love is a journey rings and it is absolutely gorgeous! He said I deserved it after the year we have had! I also got a couple of really nice sweaters (SIZE MEDIUM!!!! YEAH YEAH) and some really comfy slippers. The best gift I got though was watching the smiles on the kids faces as they were delighted with their new gifts. I got some Disney Crocs, a T-shirt that says expecting from China, some new sweaters size Medium as well and my hubby got me a pair of Homer Simpson boxers since I steal his all the time. Today is also my birthday and I got this beautiful Vera Bradley purse set from my Mom, and gift cards. It has been a nice low key holiday for us. We are dreaming of what it will be like within in the next couple of years, especially when we finally get our referral and can travel to China to bring our daughter home. Happy Holidays. Suzanne

I got an official red rider two hundred shot model action air rifle with a compass in the stock and this thing that tells time. We buy guns for the holidays. My youngest got his first shotgun this year. Nothing says happy holidays like new 20 gauge. kp

I GOT A DIGITAL CAMERA AND PRINTER, A DVD, GIFT CARDS, MONEY, SCARF AND GLOVES, BACK HEAT MASSAGER PAD, CANDLES, BATH AND BODY WORKS SHOWER GELS AND LOTIONS, ANTIQUE BIRD HOUSE, MOUSE PAD, NECKLACE AND EARRINGS. WOW!!!! LOOKS LIKE I WAS VERY GOOD HUH.... HOPE YOU ALL HAD A MERRY CHRISTMAS AS WELL!!!! HUGS JUDY

After spending about nine million dollars on my boys, it was nice to get some presents for me! (Just kidding, it was a little less than 9 mil) I got j'dore perfume, Christmas ornaments, cookbooks, pj's, slippers, picture frames for my new office, and some really wonderful candy cane scented body scrub. A funny note: At my bf's parents house, the aunt that has had surgery and his dad that also had the surgery gave me a HUGE tin of cookies and chocolate bars. I opened them and said, "Oh, I must have gotten someone's gift by mistake" Nope, they got them for me. Go figure. I got a new vaccuum!!! I know it sounds boring, but I needed it!!! It's the bomb....just about vaccuums on its own! Also a Keith Urban DVD, a new watch, and other things too. The best part was having my kids and their girlfriends/boyfriends and their kids, my "almost grandkids"! What fun that was!!! That's what Christmas is all about in my opinion, but of course the ultimate reason for the season...the Birth of Christ! Hope everyone had a great Christmas and Happy New Year to All!! Since I am only 4 months out I refused to let anyone get me clothes so I asked for gift cards and a microwave. (my old one had a mind of it's own and would turn itself on when no one was home). I also got some cash!! This year was not about me...I had more fun watching my 7 year old open all his gifts. I'm sure I don't have too much longer before he doesn't believe anymore and so I really Cherished this year. Stacey B

WOW Sounds like everyone had a great Christmas ! Had to laugh at the spending 9 mill on the kids, sure feels like that much doesn't it ? LOL We had a great one ! My hubby went all out this year, I got a beautiful curio cabinet for all my penguins (i collect them and have soooo many), also a new camera cell phone (always wanted one lol), along with lots of other little but great things ! hubby got me a really neato purse with camaros ( old ones) on it, a portable CD player and some self help CD's, ( asked for those.. ) a new fancy blow dryer, earrings from the kids, and the most tear jerking, awesome gift I got..... 6 photos my mom had copied of my my gramma & grampa, (who have both passed on a while ago,) and grampa with his corvettes.. we still have thursday night to celebrate with our son, daughter in lw and 4 grandsons from WI.

Sorry my post is late, but I just saw this thread. I got some pretty sweet things. More than I really expected. But this is the first year in about 15 years my sister, Mom and I spent Christmas Day together- I usually am working. I received: celestial seasons herb "gingerbread spice" teas (3 boxes) a christmas snowglobe with two skiers and 'it's beginning to look alot like christmas" music plays (music box globe) new placemats and napkins for my dining room and two Tommy Hilfiger tops (sweater and shirt) ((I am hooked on Tommy!!)) I gave my best friends kids about 8 things each and my best friend a denum jacket in purple, my mom and sisters were well taken care of as well. I was more interested in giving this year than receiving...though I loved the clothes most.....the time I spent with my family meant more to me than anything. Stacey
