My WLS and my Dad!!!

I spoke with my mom yesterday and found out that my dad (who was very against my surgery in the beginning) is thinking of having the lap-band procedure done... I am so excited... My dad has been close to 400 pounds for most of my adult life and I worry about him all the time... He is diabetic has had to have hip replacement surgery and has really bad knees... he is now on bp meds too. I can't believe how my success has turned him around and that he now want to make his life healthier... I am so excited for him... I Really hope he goes through with this and changes his life.... He is now 66 years old so he needs to do it soon before the doctors turn him down from his age.... I am still in amazement over how his attitude changed... Just thought I would share that with you. I did not think my success woud affect him the way that it has... Woooo Hoooo for my Dad!!!!! Shawn M.

That's amazing Shawn!!! I'm so happy that he is able to notice how great you've done and how it can benefit him as well. You've done an amazing job and WooooooooHooooooooo for your DAD is right on girl!!! In my efforts, I was able to show my Dad my improved self only for 7 months before he passed, I know that he sees the changes I have accomplished and I can feel his happiness today and every day.
