MMPC Grand Rapids Michigan Patients

I am looking to purchase some Proti 15 Hot Chocolate by Bariatrix quickly. I have an order in with a company out of TX but every place I've found to buy it from is VERY SLOW at shipping product. I use 2-3 packets per day and am cranky if I don't have it on hand. I'm willing to pay a premium if youre willing to part with some of your supply. Please contact me and I will respond quickly. I had open rny 6/12/06 at Barix Clinic in Ypsilanti but live in Grand Rapids and know that MMPC carries the product (they wont sell to me because i'm not their patient) Thanks so much!

Kimberly: Sorry to hear they won't sell to you. It doesn't make a lot of sense to me, but I guess they don't want to become a retail outlet for the product. They may even be limited by their governing board to only sell to their patients as medical care is the MMPC group's primary purpose. I just came from a support group there tonight. Had I seen your message before I would have gladly picked some up. Unfortunately, I don't know when I'll be back up in GR as I usually go to the Kalamazoo group. I recommend that you try some of the SF hot chocolate mixes. I think I like the Swiss Miss the best. It does not have the protein, but you can get that in other foods. It would be much more convenient and economical, too! Good luck! Matt

Thanks for your comments. I talked to the office manager and they will sell to me with a release from my doctor so the future wont be an issue. I was just hoping to run into someone before monday that could buy for me. I feel like an addict without a stash The hot cocoa is my protein supplement of choice and I enjoy having one in the morning and one at night. It's the extra boost I need I dont currently consume anything that isnt a low fat high protein choice.. that includes drinks with the one exception being water. I'm very strict with my choices but appreciate your recommendation to try SF Swiss Miss... maybe later on down the road when my weight loss stabalizes Thanks again for your kindness. Kim
