Unfortunately that isnt an easy answer. We all have our own pereferences depending on our taste buds and our bodies reaction to the protein source. Some people have issues with Whey (i.e. lactose intolerance) while others do not. If you can get sample packets, that would be the best way to go about it. I would highly reccommend against buying a large amount until you decide if you like it or not...or at least willing to just deal with it and drink it anyways. Another suggestion is if you are a part of a local support group, see if any of the members there would be willing to share/let you sample the kinds that they use. GNC has bottled protein drinks...40 grams per bottle that also count towards your water intake...Isopure I believe it is called. I tried some...depending on the flavor it can be putrid, but some just deal with it to get in the requirement. Now as for powders...I use the AnyWhey unflavored and add it to juices, coffee, frozen fruit and make smoothies. I also use Isopure powders (does not taste anything like the liquid GNC stuff). I use the Orange Pineapple and Vanilla flavors and I like em both. They are also easily made with water and dont thicken at all after mixing. I prefer more of the watery protein drink. Anywhey I purchased online. The Ispoure powders I bought at Meijers. Hope this helps some.

Unjury.com! They have sample packets and it is whey protein, but is almost tasteless. It mixes great and you will not say gross! The unflavored is just that! And the shipping is free if you order a quantity. Also it ships fast within a couple of days. Wendy

* I agree, samples first, and Unjury has a great chicken broth flavored one, a nice break from the sweet ones, and the chocolate is good too. Try samples from bariatriceating.com she has tons! Good luck! Cynthia

i must agree about the samples. your taste may change after surgery, and you dont want to have a lot of protein that you cant gag down! my 2 fav's are chocolate Matrix and Nectar carribean cooler. good luck, teri
