I know getting sick sucks but something that makes you sick today might agree with you tomorrow. Don't let getting sick on something once keep you from trying it again. It does get better!!! Hang in there! Jennifer

Thanks Jennifer..... This post just caught me on a bad day.... I just went through all of this with my shrink yesterday and that is who told me I was going through a mourning/grieving period for food...... I think he is right.... I am still tired of getting sick all the time... I do try the foods again about 4 or 5 days later, but most of the time it is the same thing.... Thanks again... Shawn M.

You will be able to eat normal one day, I promise. For the first 6 months I lived on dry cheerios, orange juice (that was a weird one), tuna fish, and mashed potatoes. Oh and oyster crackers.

Thanks Julie... I just want so bad to get past this point... it feels like it is going on forever.... The soft foods seem to be safe it is when I move to the more solid foods that I have pain and most of the time I I love my saltine crackers and my popsicles though... LOL.... Thanks again for listening to me rant and ramble... Shawn M.

No problem. Have you tried eating california rolls minus the avocado? Those seemed to be fairly easy for me to tolerate in the beginning as well. I could not eat a lot, maybe two pieces at a time, but it filled me up.

California rolls are sushi. It's cooked. It's just crab meat, rice, cucumbers, avocado if you want it, and seaweed.

Well, it sounds OK... but I have not been able to tolerate crab meat either... Where would I buy them? maybe I could try it and it would sit better than the crab salad I make.... Shawn M.

Honestly, you can get them just about anywhere these days. Now whether or not they will be good from certain places....well....that's another story, lol. Heck I have even seen them sold at Meijer. I wouldn't trush sushi from Meijer, but hey. Check some of the chinese or japanese restaurants in your area. I'm sure one of them has a sushi bar. My favorite place to get california rolls was a place in Royal Oak called Little Tree.
