This is a wierd problem, but I am hoping someone can help me. Since my surgery I get sick to my stomach when I am riding (sometimes driving) in a car. I never use to have this. My husband and I travel alot and I really need help with this. Has anyone had this and what have you done to stop it.

That's one i never heard. I know they make medicine for this, check with your surgeon and see if it's ok to take. Hopefully it's something that won't last long. Hugs Linda

It is probably from your body dumping hormones and changing so fast paced. You can drop blood pressure and things very quickly now. Make sure you are well hydrated and see your doctor about motion sickness pills for the meanwhile. Also try not to eat alot in the car. If you had high cholesterol before surgery, you could actually be breaking off chunks of cholesterol into your inner ear. This is what I was told by the ear, nose and throat doctor when I had vertigo. It is a common cause of vertigo, which is dizziness, but could possible be a motion sickness trigger too? Worth asking about. Wendy

Thank you for the information. I had (have) very high cholesterol and triglycerides. I am definately going to be asking a few questions when I call my doctor. Also they took me off my BP mediction because my BP was so low with it. It has been fine without it everytime I have it checked. Lori
