Hi Erin,
Welcome to the Board!
Where do you live Erin? There are several support groups that announce their meeting days on here. I host one up in the Houghton Lake area, and others have one in Bay City, different suburbs in the Detroit area, Grand Rapids, etc.. Check with your local Dr.'s office and Hospital too...they are probably aware of meetings. It is important to get back to a support group. I also am one that has gained back weight (I'm just over 3 years out) and the main thing is to not give up. Of course, the best advice is to get back to basics....water, protein, walking, repeat. I know I've slacked off on all and have paid the price in weight gain. So...every day is a new day...keep trying. That's all I can say. Writing things down seems to help me too.
Best of luck to you and keep us posted! This MI Board is the best support ever!
Hugs, Theresa
P.S. Another good source....Go to the top of the page and move your mouse over "Forums" and go down the menu and click on "WLS Graduates". I've recently dicovered this forum and it's helpful with others that are out as far as we are.

Thanks Theresa I'm trying to find a support group in my area PortHuron so far no luck only lap band support. Someone told me the nearest one is flint the doctor who did my surgery went back home to Europe. I was never taught about protein either, he told me it wasn't necessary to drink protein drinks. I need a new education about this. I,m going to keep searching . Hospital in Port Huron gave me a womens name who knows how to get my records and May know someone I can contact, I will see if that helps. I'll keep you posted.
