A few weeks ago a question came up on the board and one of our Manly Men mentioned that he had gone to physical therapy for another issue. His physical therapist mentioned to him that he was relying on his post-surgical binder too much. I had a TT & hernia repair in early December. I'm scared to death to get another hernia (I've had 2, neither painful, but both extremely annoying!), so I'm very interested in finding out about physical therapy once I'm given the go ahead by my surgeon & PCP. Any advice??? Walking is a good thing, right? How do I NOT rely on my binder?
