Good plastic surgeons in metro-Detroit area?

Hi, I had RNY in July 2005, and I'm looking to have a tummy tuck with lipo very soon, especially since I know my insurance, Community Blue, will cover it. My surgeon was Dr. Kevin Krause in Royal Oak Beaumont. Does anyone have any recommendations for plastic surgeons in the area?

YES!! YES!! YES!!! I went to Dr. Ellen Janetzke in Birmingham. She is fantastic and is getting a following for weight loss nips and tucks. I was absolutely amazed what she did with me. She was able to remove 20 pounds of excess skin. I would like the lipo now, but will hold off for now.

DiNick has my vote too.........just make sure you pick someone that you are comfrotable with and doesnt push you into procedures that you dont want........be prepared for healing time also! Good luck, rae

I've heard both Dr. DiNick and Dr. Ellen are excellent! Dr. DiNick came to our support group and gave a seminar for us and I just loved him...showed his work in slides, etc. and was a very kind and personable man. Carey Poissen, who posts on the board regularly and of course is a wls patient herself, can help you get info with him...she works for him! Lucky gal! But yes, not taking anything away from Dr. Ellen...I've seen her work on others and she's fantastic too. Best of luck on your quest! Theresa

Ashley, Dr Krause did my surgery in 2003. I have had a "few"things already done and used Dr Daniel Sherbert, he is in West Bloomfield. He is wonderful and Dr Krause saved my life. Best of luck, Robin
