I'm older than most people think i am.....how old would you think i am? You've seen me......You think i couldn't have kicked his a$$? I'm not as sweet as everyone thinks LOL, my husband would have done it but i didn't let him. Thanks though This turkey neck and saggy skin is getting to me, and has been on my mind a lot lately, that's why it bothered me. Maybe i'll just drink a pop and feel better Hugs Linda

Linda, I don't know you, and I don't think you look at all old from your pictures. But you asked "what would you do?" I would have thought, well, this guy thinks I look old. So what, I never liked him and his opinion doesn't mean anything to me. I think you overreacted and made an awkward situation into a huge blowup. The first half of his comment, "Linda was beautiful back when I knew her". You said you were fat back then, and yet he still thought you were beautiful. Don't we hear comments all the time that nobody thought we were beautiful when we were fat? To many people, my husband included, a thinner face on a formerly obese person, makes that person look older. He didn't say it made you ugly, you just look older to him. Do we now equate old with ugly? Plus, he hadn't seen you in twenty years, of course you're going to look older to him. I think publicly humiliating him about his appearance and his career status was a bit cruel. Yes, this is just my opinion. He was not the only one talking about you "behind your back". He probably wouldn't have made any comments about your age to your face, if he felt it might hurt your feelings. It seems to me your reaction is based on a lot of old interactions with this guy that were never resolved. I sometimes feel I look good, based on having lost so much weight, but I will never look as young as I did twenty years ago, fat or thin. I hope you focus on how good you do look. Forget his comments, but maybe analyze why you had the reaction you did. Debra M.

You are entitled to your opinion, but i don't agree with it. Years ago he would do everything to embarass me in public. he would make jokes about my weight and totally do everything he could to make fun of me. When he would go out with us he would comment on what i ate, not only to me, but made sure everyone heard it. I stopped going when he would go cause i couldn't stand him. Yesterday was just more of the same, and he was really just trying to make my husband mad. I still think what i did was right, and i bet he won't act like that toward me again. Linda

Dear Linda, I hope you realize that it's more important you see how beautiful you are to yourself first and foremost. I'm so sorry this jerk ruined your day. It's so uncalled for when people act like that. You have changed so much from when I first started coming here, I've seen the photos. And you do not look OLD!!! I might even be older than you are!!! (I'll tell you if you tell me!) lol! Don't let this sour **** ant do this to you. Let KP kick his a$$!!! He deserves it and I bet usta and jon and jay would join in! I'll be there too! You are truly someone I feel is inspiring and just remember that! many warm hugs to a lovely woman! Stacey W
