New Dr. Wood and Dr. Taylor Website
I'm with Jay on this one. Why do it for free? my wls cost, including complications, over three hundred grand. Though i am very proud of myself and do my best to help others get to where i am, i feel we should be compinsated for any advertising. Do any doctors give their services for free? Absolutely not, so why should we? Jay has lost 200 pounds and i have lost 205, we are both success stories. From what i understand these doctors have not had their patients best interest at heart......which is why i didn't go with cori to begin with.
Hugs
Linda
I'm lucky, all my surgeon's had my best interest at heart. And none were paid very much. And they are all truly skilled. But they're an exception not the rule. And none of them have ever approached me about advertising.
btw, one of them used to work for CORI but he had the balls to walk away when he didn't like how they ran things. And he let all his patients know.
Looks like you got into a controversy you didn't plan on. Just out of curiosity, are you being compensated for your work on the website? That compensation, which I believe you are entitled to, came from sugical fees paid by patients and their insurers. The same folks you (and indirectly, the doctors) are asking to donate advertising material. See the concern?
And, if you are not being compensated, you are taking work from a professional who places value on his or her work.
Anyway, I've heard too much about Cori doing too little, I'm very glad I didn't go with them. Good luck on this uphill battle, I think.
