I have my first appointment with Dr. Krause next week!

Can anyone tell me what to expect? They said come at 2:00 and expect to be there for a couple of hours! What's up?

A couple of hours? Yeah I guess mine was maybe 2, 2 1/2 hours. For my first appt with him we had a conference with him and then individual exams. There were maybe six other patients in this appt with me and he went over the whole surgery - everything that you can expect, complications, follow-up, that sort of thing. Maybe there will be a lot of other patients there. It depends on how many questions people ask. And the exams afterwards are first come first serve. So if you get there right at 2 before everybody else you will probably be the first to have the private exam with him after the group conference and then you will be able to leave. You will like him a lot. I have been thrilled with my experience with Dr. Krause and the Beaumont Weight Control Center. Let me know if you have any other questions. sarah

I agree with Sarah. Dr. Krause is great. He is a little quiet but he is awesome. Make sure to ask all you questions. The Beaumont Weight Control Center is incredible and I highly recommend going there to everyone. The support you get is fantastic. Take full advantage of all they have to offer.
