I hope someone can shed some light on what is currently going on with me. This has happen twice now and I have a call into my Doctor for help. Last week I went to Olgas for chicken chili, later that night I began to feel as if there were razor blades in my pouch and intestines that throbbed every 5 minutes. I then began to vomit violently for about 4 hours, until there was nothing left in me. I first thought I might have come down with the flu or food poisoning. Then it happen again last night, this time I ate a sandwich. I am at a loss of what is going on and I am concerned. Has anyone had this happen to them. I am 4 months out and thought the vomitting was over!!! thanks for your help, Jill

My guess is you are not chewing enough or eating too fast or both. Chicken is always interesting for me and peanut butter sent me to the hospital once. kp

Jill I have to agree. Since I am STILL not a good chewer and get food stuck I am thinking you had something stuck and it needed to come up. Chicken is sometimes a really hard thing to do. Try to stay with dark meat if you do eat chicken. I don't eat the white meat because it gets stuck EVERY time. I do better with dark meat! Good Luck!!!

I have a little different perspective on this as I have been suffering on and off for months now with almost the same thing. I found out about 3 months ago that I had something called h. pylori infection. It is a bacterial infection of the stomach and duodenum that causes ulcers. It is very common and can be caught very easily. I developed an ulcer and I have had trouble since with solid food. I am on a stomach acid pill which helps alot, but you HAVE to have antibiotics also to get rid of h. pylori. The doc can test for this with a blood test or a breath test. If you are positive you must follow up with antibiotics and a scope. I am seeing a gastro doc because of this, and I still have to have another scope and biopsy because the first doctor was an a**!! I have not received full treatment yet, but on the 20th I see another doctor. Your symptoms sound VERY familiar and just to be sure I would recommend you see your doctor and have them check for h. pylori and ulcers. Wendy
