New Losers Debbie&Toni

Hi All, Debbie and toni had their surgeries on Tuesday. Debbie looks great and is doing very well. She was on the table for 2.5 hrs. The gas was getting to her a little bit yesterday. She doesn't look like she had surgery at all. She passed her gastro gaffin test and had her first "glass" (LOL) of water while I was there. Her daughter and hubby are wonderful people. I'm glad I was able to meet them Toni had a complication and was on the table for 5 hours. they almost had to convert to an open, but were able to fini**** lap Her stomach wall was very thick and they couldn't staple it. They used a different stapler and got the job done. She has a drain tube, and a feeding tube which will be in for a couple of weeks. Other than that she looks pretty good. I met her husband who is very loving towards her They are a very sweet couple. God bless, Annette

Thanks for the info Annette! I've posted to them already. Hope you are doing well! I'm still struggling with my weight, but I'm trying to get moving in the right direction....baby steps. I've teamed up with another gal online that is struggling as well and we are working our way back to good habits! I am back to the 64 oz of fluids a day, 2nd day running, which I had gotten away from. Conquering one bad habit at a time! But doing well and proud of myself for at least taking that step!
