Im on an exercise HIGH!!!

I am losing sooo slowly at 9 months out but I just wanted to post that excericse has helped me soooooo much. I feel great, I feel strong and I love what my body can do when not weighed down with an excess of 100 lbs. For anyone who is using this cold weather as an excuse to not workout - I want to encourage you to find time at home or in the gym. It has improved more than my body- it has helped with my insecurities over my changing body and image!! I can do it, so can you, so go ahead, walk on that treadmill and surprise yourself with how strong you are! Kathryn

Kathryn, I hate exercising. Did real good for the first 4 months and havent gotten back to the task yet. I have had an injured shoulder but that is just an excuse I was doing the walking videos in the morning took a vacation to fl. and havent gone back to it yet. My best friend had the surgery also and she has joined a gym and is really enjoying it. I just HATE it I have lost 69 3/4 in almost 5 months I do feel so much better and I know exercise wont be as hard as it used to be. I have had enough of this snow also I am on the west side of Mi in south haven . We have been blasted with snow so I have been going out and doing some snow removal that should be a small form of exercise. Glad the exercise is going so well for you. Some sunshine would help with the want to do something. keep up the good work Ann Sonnenberg

I'm proud of you. I just looked at your new picture, and WOW, what a difference !!! I like the new hair too! You look like a whole new person, congrats on such an awesome job. Hugs Linda

I definately need to catch your exercise "fever"!!! I'm in a slump, and I HATE the treadmill...I'm an outside walker, but I am going to get back at it....drag the treadmill out. You inspired me! But have to wait til hubby gets home to get it moved in for me. THEN I have to actually get on it and use it instead of hanging clothes to dry on it! Wish me luck and determination! Hugs, T

You are so right! I just started back up on my little jogging trampoline. I bought some weights for my ankles and wrists too, cause now that I have lost so much weight, I don't get any workout without them! I just bounce around LOL! Wendy

I find being accountable an exercise buddy helps us both! Not to mention some friendship bonding time! We do the walk videos and yoga to switch things up and have the treat of a spa day at the end of the month if we get 4 of 7 days in each week. Any little trick to help I know for myself personally I do NOT skip my work out days -if I work out an extra day - great, but if I skip a workout day it gives me the excuse to miss more and then when I finally get motivated a month has passed. Just like eating right, exercise has to be a habit. Heck I don't really enjoy it but I have to do it so I am THough I would be much happier if there was a "Grumpy Walker's" walk video- I'm tired of skinny smiling non sweating women :D
