I am home....

I am home from Henry Ford. And I feel great!!! Thank you Annette for stopping by with your grandson....my daughter got a kick out of him. Things went well as Annette said in an earlier post. I am working the gas out. Was up all last night getting rid of it... I am down to taking just 1/2 dose of the Tylenol Elixir. Will only be the 3rd time today. And I think only because I am moving different at home then in the hospital and the ride home. I don't think I hurt as bad as I thought I would. I know I didn't use all the morphine. Henry Ford Staff has been absolutely wonderful. Right there when you need something. And I love Dr Carlin and his PA. The one and only thing that wasn't good was the TV...LOL Not enough stations. When you are up all night waiting to go to the bathroom....you need entertainment. I got all my diet instruction from Annette...so I am on my way. This is definitely going to be challenging but if you all did it...so can I. I am very positive. Thanks for the support. Need to go update my profile now.

Another newbie moves to the losing side!!! Congratulations!!! I also had Dr. Carlin and he is a wonderful surgeon...you're a lucky girl to have him! And the bariatric wing and staff are wonderful! Glad you are home and feeling so well already. Yes, it will be challenging, but you will do great!!! You have lots of support from us too, whenever you need us! Best of luck! Theresa

Glad to see you're home and doing so well. Did you have a problem with the morphine or just didn't need it? I know it made me hallucinate, very scarey. I know you're gonna do great! Hugs Linda
