Hello all I do not post very much but I try to check the message board each day. Well here is the good news I had my Roux-en-y bypass on Jan 30th. They started to do laparoscopic surgery and after 2 and 1/2 hours of trying they ended up opening me up a that was a second 2 and 1/2 hours. My wife cheryl was a basket case after it was over Dr Schneider went out and talked with Cheryl and the rest of the family for about 45 min and explaned every thing that went on. I spent 2 nights at St John hospital and went home. After 1 night at home I was taken back for a second 4 night stay well things are going real good now. Dr. Schneider has been so great to me he has called me at home and at the hospital as well as seeing me each day at the hospital well he has been so good to me. As well as everyone at the St Johns center for weight loss.

Congrats on your surgery! I'm sure you're glad to be home and getting on the right path. You should post in your profile so later you'll be able to look back and remember . What ended you back in the hospital? Hugs Linda
