Hey Everyone,
Think I am finally getting over the hump with the acute septic abbesse! Saw the PA yesterday; had a second site of infection! She had to remove stiches; when she got to the 3rd one it popped like a monster zit! I mean it shot out nasty, toxic, poison; the was at least 6 oz or so.. It was very painful; but also a great relief! They said it is a good thing I had started on antibiotics on Sunday. Antibiotics seems to really be kicking in. I can walk with more comfort now; as well as anything else. Later an RN friend of mine said this can happen with any abdominal surgery! And she said it is so dangerous you can die from it!! She had another friend in intensive care for 5 days with this. So if you should feel something in your incision area please do not ignore it!
If you have a fever, if your sugar suddenly spikes, if there is a hard warm or hot lump, any unual redness, chills, and more; just pay attention to anything you feel is not right! Thanks for all your emails support; and prayers. Happy Valentines day everyone. Sincerely, Judy R
judy, i'am so glad to hear you are getting better. i was lucky i didn't have any problems with the surgery. i feel so blessed. thank you for the other things to watch for. i have a hernia and when i loose all my weight and have it taken care of i will get a tummy tuck with it so i will know what to watch for. i hope things continue to get better for you. god bless barb
I have been thinking about you and wondering how you were doing... I am glad to hear that things are getting better and they took care of you.... Definitely keep us posted on how things are going. Sorry you had to go through all of this, but now that you are over the hump you should start getting better as each day passes... Good luck with your recovery...
