 Getting able
Hey Everyone,
I am able to take in and hold down my protien and more as well. After the battle of the week I just had with septic infection, (which put me at least a week behind) I am now finally doing much better. I can't stress enough to others to be very aware of your own body! This infection kicked my butt big time; I thought I was not going to make it there for a while!!! This infection can kill you if you are not very careful; and lady we know ended up in intensive care for over 5 days from it! I caught it very early but it was hell. So I thought the one good thing to come out of it would be that I started out losing weight faster; I was wrong! What's up with that? But now I am having protien, and liquids as I should. I think I am taking in about 45 of protien at least a day. I am able to hold things down without any nausea or problems except a small occasional heart burn! I finally feel as if I have turned the corner to recovery: we have
the green monster! I am walking very well; yesterday even when to store for a while. I am walking, so can I begin 5 minutes or so on the treadmill; I am bored
! What helps jump start your weight loss; can't wait to get on the losers bench. I wish to sincerely thank all of you for your care, prayers; and information.
Have a great day everyone. Sincerely, Judy R.
P.S. how long do I have to continue to crush my meds; can I just cut them into very small pc since I have no swallowing issues?

Judy i'm so glad to hear you're doing better. It's good you're thinking about your protein, has your nutritionist told you how much you should be getting? Mine told me 80 grams a day, but it took me a long time to work up to that. Are you drinking your water? You want to make sure to get in as much water as you can, in the beginning its hard, i made a schedule as to what time i had how many ever ounces in. protein, water and walking is what is going to jump start your loss. As for the pills, i never had to .
Hugs
Linda
