NEW: info on Dawn V

As Judy indicated, Dawn had a heart attack. She was rushed into the ER. She will be having surgery on Monday. I spoke to her just now (850pm-Sat Pm) and she is disappointed she wont be having WLS surgery but, she knows she has to get through this first. She asks that you keep her close in your thoughts and prayers. A few things she said, though this is a hurdle she has to get over right now, one thing at a time. We spoke of this being just a brick wall, and that this delays her chances perhaps indefinately of having WLS. However, she is optimistic that she will be able to do WLS down the road, eventually. She is in Grand Blanc, at Genesys. The information I am providing you below is for: you to send her paper cards, notes, letters, flowers, whatever. She will be in the hospital at least 5 days, if not more. We hope sooner than later. The other link, you can send her EMAIL. However you need her room number and that is going to change on Monday, I can provide you with her room number for the emails. OMG I am in shock. I just got an email the other day....asking me how I was and telling me when her next appointment would be with Dr Carlin. She was really looking forward to this surgery. I met her at Henry Ford at one of our appointments. Very nice husband. She had been trying to get approved as long as I was. Keep us updated so we can send emails (i.e. room #)...and if you speak with her...please please tell her she is in my prayers.

i spoke with Dawn today. Im sure she was keeping her spritis up for me because she seems to be that kind of caring person. I told her she was in my prayers, and she has been all day. Dawn is really a genuinely kind and sweet gal. Please, everyone, pray for her and the surgeons and nurses taking care of her. This is really a shock. I'm just glad she made it through it.
