Charity Gala to benefit Care House March 2nd
Hi all,
Bloomfield Bariatrics is hosting "A Crystal Ball," a charity gala to benefit Care House on March 2nd at Bay Pointe Country Club in West Bloomfield. There will be dinner, a silent auction, and plenty of dancing to the music of a 17-person big band. The reason I'm posting it here is that since it's put on by Bloomfield Bariatrics, there will be plenty of post-ops attending, and also plenty of plastic surgeons following the money trail (and supporting the cause.) So put on those evening gowns and black ties, and forget the saggy skin; lots of others will have it too. Let's all play Cinderella and go to the ball!
Care House is a nonprofit organization in Oakland County which helps children who have been abused, both with crisis counseling, and also by taking their testimony in a comfortable environment so that they won't have to face their attacker in court. Their website is here: http://www.carehouse.org/
Tickets for the gala are $100 per person, (you will get your money's worth.) There are lots of cool things up for auction, too, including an autographed Steve Yzerman hockey stick, "taste of" baskets for the different suburbs, and many, many more good things.
I personally donated a 1/4 ct diamond necklace and a loose 1ct natural midnight sapphire to the auction.
If you want any more details, or if you'd like to purchase tickets, feel free to reply or PM me.
