I thought this was a good time for lurkers to come alive again. I visit the site often for useful information but rarely post and don't really know why. Even though I am over a year out I feel as though I will always be learning about my new lifestyle. I am down 163 pounds and feel great! Come on out and post! Meg 340/177

Hi Meg, That is great! I am a newbie; had surgery Feb 5th. We newbies need people like yourself for encouragement, and advise. Great Job.. Welcome back to the boards.Sincerely, Judy R.

Judy, your process is just beginning, it is going to be a rollercoaster but a fun one! I had a couple of complications after the fact but would not change my decision for the world. Good luck on your journey! Meg

I'm here. I lurk every day and occasionally post. I had surgery on February 16th, one week ago today. I'm doing okay. SUprised at how much I still hurt but feeling okay. I'm happy to join you! ANd when I feel up to it, I would love to walk at Great Lakes on Sundays even though that is my morning to sleep in...
