Plastic Surgery

Hey all, Looking for people that can talk with me about their plastic surgery experience. I have a consult with Dr. Thomas in April. I am looking to have my arms, breasts and legs done before summer. Would like to know what to expect for cost, pain and time off from work. Also, has anyone else had a tailbone repair? Thanks for any information at all that you can provide me with. Melody

I just had my tummy tuck done with Dr Smith and he did a excellent job I am so happy with the results. I only had my tummy tuck and mine was covered by my insurance company and I was told that at least 4 weeks off. I know that if you have multiple procedures done he gives a discount also they do financing with Traverse city state bank. I will proballey have him do my breast lift next year. They have a great office staff and his nurse Amy is great. I would recommend him to anyone because I have heard nothing but bad things about Thomas. Good Luck Tricia

Hey Melody, I had my arms, lower back, and Tummy tuck done by Dr. Ellen Janetzke on Oct 13, 2006. SHe did a fantastic job, I am so happy with the results. SHe removed 17 lbs of skin/fat. My cost was approx $9500. My insurance covered the hospital stay and part of the tummy tuck too. It was the most painful surgeries I have ever had. I am guessing thats partially because of all the work I had done. SHe removed almost 10 lbs from my tummy. I was in the hospital Friday to Sunday. I am now very very happy I had it done, but the first 3 months I wasnt so sure. But everyone is different. I was a little mentally messed up at the time too, my Mom passed away in May 06, and I left my job that I had been at for 10 yrs, my boss turned into an a$$, and I couldnt deal so I quit. So I figured since I wasnt working I may as well get my surgery. IN hind sight maybe not such a good idea. But at least it's over....I am even thinking about a breast lift now, who knows????
