HUGS JUDY

I am very happy and I am only 5 months post-op. My body is constantly changing, which for most folks, can be very upsetting. Not me. I like the changes I see. I am seeing a smaller reflection in the mirror finally. I -could- wear jeans again, but the brass snaps give me a rash. The fact that I CAN wear them again is a triumph. I often look at my before pictures and just sigh...it humbles me and reinforces my "I don't care about the skin issue" attitude. For me, the batwings and turkey neck are a reminder of how close I was to dying, and how that loose skin was once filled with life threatening fat.
FYI--Check the Delaware board. Not a very active forum, to say the least. I lurk around the Michigan board because my home board is so sluggish. We might see one post a day, sometimes none, even though there are hundreds and hundreds of members. I guess that's why we are called "slower, lower Delaware." So I come here to be uplifted and entertained. You guys are great and KP is a riot!
