Molina insurance???????

Has anyone with Molina gotten approval for plastics? If yes what did they cover, and what is their criteria? Thank you. God bless, Annette

They are a medicaid HMO and they follow the same guidlines as regular medicaid and I know that they do not cover plastic surgery only if it is medically nessecary you have to have great documentation of skin issues and pain from the excess weight plus it takes a long time to get your approval from Medicaid. I also know a lot of surgeons probally will not bill your insurance company and if they do not participate with them then they can not bill the Medicaid HMO so you might be looking at a out of pocket expense.
