WHAT DO I DO? Part of me wants to eat everything I look at, the other part is saying Hey you better start getting use to NOT eating now while there won't be to much pain or dumping...Maybe I should just go take a :bath:...

Tracey, Try drinking a big glass of water with a slice of lemon. Or eating something crunchy like carrots or celery. That might help. Good luck to you! Pam

Aww I hope that the bath helped.. I know how you feel I am waiting for surgery yet....but I had my doctor give me Adipex,,, it seems to help me so I don't over do things. I was told I need to get about 10-15 lbs. off before surgery to make sure we could do it LAP...I am down 29 lbs in 2 months but I am having to starve to do that.....So yeah I know what you mean......Take care just try to keep moving I know what I sit then I want to snack.....

Hey Tracey, Eating everything in sight right now would possibly cause weight gain and if you are pre-op, NOT GOOD. It will take that much longer to get your liver to a normal size and most likely leave you feeling crappy about eating so much. Don't give up. The Last Supper (in the non-biblical sense) isn't all it's made out to be. Pigging out before surgery is going against everything you have been working towards. Stick with the program and be strong. I know I wanted to go to Olde Country Buffet but chose a tuna sandwich on toast the day everyone else went. I felt really good about myself for not giving in to my old habits. You can do it! KathyG

OMGosh I can so relate to that ! I am still waiting for a date but went through a spurt of eating non stop ! To be honest I let myself do it and after about the 2nd day I felt miserable and havent' done it since. I know i'm not much of help.... so I hope the bath helped ! If you need to talk let me know.... it also helps to tell someone what your feeling during your "pig out" feeling time. ~~Rona
