I am EXTREMELY disappointed in this board!!!!!
You are certainly entitled to your opinion and I respect your right to voice it. With that said, I wouldn't suspect you are shaking in your boots afraid of what other people said. Why is it other people are emailing you afraid to say stuff on this board? Is there some kind of flame squad waiting in the wings to humiliate people? I'm glad you feel confident enough to express yourself. I think a lot of the differences between women and men are the reasons for the conflict. Men just aren't as sensative to emotional issues and they are not going to get it, just like you don't get why the direct approach is so blatently obvious to us. The main difference there is the guys think it is hilarious when women get all disjointed like we mean things personally. Take a step back, breathe deeply and realize a LOT of people take this a lot more seriously than they need to.

Thanks Toni. You are so sweet to have expressed your side of the issue {{{{HUG}}}} I certainly hope I didn't say anthing to hurt your feelings. You are a WONDERFUL person inside and out. Keep doing what you do to help others. I know how you feel and I hope everyone on this board can just get back to loving and supporting each other. You are SO special. Thanks for being you.

I'm not an old timer, I'm just over a year old on this board.
What everyone should know, according to the laws set forth by our nations historical govenment, is the 1st ammendment. "Freedom of speech".
With that said, I encourage everyone, yes, everyone to speak their minds and hearts and be able to say what they want to here. (following oh.com rules of course which can be found on the main website under "Terms of Service". By no means does it reprimand one cannot say their opinion, nor we cannot post what we feel.
It also irritates me that just because someone is on the board longer, they feel they have perhaps seniority to tell others what to post and what not to post. NO ONE HERE IS THE LEADER but www.obesityhelp.com board moderators. NO ONE!
We are all free to speak our minds and hearts and guts and if anyone doesnt like it tough crap. I have rights to the 1st ammendment as so DO EACH OF YOU.
Therefore, I believe that this is MY board as well and if I do not agree I am free according to the Constitution of the United States of America to post what I feel.
Everyone needs to drink a glass of water and go take a walk. This is total nonsense to dictate to people what to write and not to write. We are not in a dictatorship land. We are in the USA, home of the free and the brave.
Funny how some people think they are so much better then others....."Im not gonna post any more but will post to say I am not gonna post because I am better then that" LOL
Like Stacey's post says- we all are allowed to speak our minds and if someone has a problem with it then it is their problem.....get over it... I don't care if you decide not to like me this week...it is up to you...

You are correct - the negative is distructive and certainly not supportive. We are all entitled to our opinions but that doesn't mean we should share those opinions with everyone!!

Now this thread has turned from a disappointment to a "I'm better than you are" thread.
No one in God's eyes is any different or better or worse.
And coming from God, we are all equal in HIS eyes. Don't throw the "I'm no better than they are if I respond" crap in my face. For you are no better or worse than the rest of us according to the Bible.
