Compliments of Laurie Griffith!! I knew I had seen this from someone and Laurie was the person I had seen it from. She was kind enough to send it to me, so I am posting it, based on the recent questions from people in their 'plateau' or 'stall' (she was unsure of what board I had seen the questions on). THANK YOU LAURIE!!! Plateau Buster Diet: #1 - Do this for 10 days to break a plateau #2 - Drink 2 quarts of water a day #3 - You must have 45 grams of protein supplement and all your vitamins/minerals supplements each day (some suggest at least 60 and up to 80 gr) #4 - You may consume up to 3 oz of the following high protein foods, 5x a day beef pork chicken turkey lamb fish eggs low fat cheese cottage cheese plain yogurt or artificially sweetened peanut butter beans/legumes You may also have: sugar free popsicles tea or coffee sugar free soda sugar free jello broths crystal light drinks #5 - If it's not on the list, you can't have it for 10 days!!!! #6 - Keep a food diary and try to get up to 30 mins of exercise daily

Hey Michelle, My question is, has anyone ever done this and does it work? Everyone posts this diet all over but I've never seen anyone comment on whether it works or not. Take care, Carey

Carey - Great Question!!!! I started this 10 day thing and it jump started my weight loss again. However, I can't handle eatting just protein so after 3 days (I think) I had to add in some fruits/ veggies to balance myself back out. That's my experience with it. Laurie

Carey, Laurie beat me to the punch! I was going to have you refer to her profile (she told me this is on her profile). Although, after she posted this several months back I did see a few posts that had done this diet and it jumped started their loss. That made it stick in my mind that it was Laurie who had posted this before. Of course, everyone is different and what may work for one may or may not work for another. Michelle
