No surgery for now

Hey everyone- I am feeling fine and getting around pretty good. Went to my surgeon on Tuesday and he said I'm doing good. For those of you who don't know ..I had a heart bypass on the 19th of Feb,Sppose to have my WLS at the end of March. Anyway, Doc says no WLS for quite sometime...but I guess it is more important that I take care of my heart. Strange thing....I was having the WLS to help in prevention of the heart attack and the cholesterol and BP and then look what happens. I am glad I was aware of the signs and got into the hospital in time. No matter what you have heard from others....always listen to your bodies. So, I would like to take this time to thank all of those who prayed for me and kept me in your thoughts, all the wonderful e-mails I received at the hospital were amazing and all the phone calls to just say hi and get better fast. I probably won't be on the boards as often as I have been but I will check in from time to time to see how everyone is doing. Until then.....thanks again my friends Dawn

Hi Dawn, I'm sorry your surgery has to be put off. It is better to take care of yourself and get as healthy as possible before surgery. Did he give you any kind of time frame? The same thing happened to Cheryl B. She fought and fought for her surgery then ended up having a couple of heart attacks and had to postpone her surgry. I'm not sure how her last visit went.
