Portofino's a seafood place on the water in Wyandotte. I like there steak bits in wine sauce. They also have a few other meals to choose from where you just get meat and veggies.
A few other places I have been too I just pick off of my family's plate. I hope that helps you.
At arbys you can get the low carbys. It's the sandwich minus the bread with a lettuce leaf to wrap it up, i usually get the roast turkey, it's very good.
I sometimes will buy a sub at the pizza place for me and the kids. My piece i take the bread off and wrap it in lettuce
At taco bell i get the taco supreme (yes i eat the crunchy shell and probably shouldn't) I also will get the pintos and cheese.
If i go to a regular restaurant i usually will get an appetizer or a salad. I make sure the salad has grilled chicken on it.

I am about a year out and can just now tolerate chinese food. I really hate to waste my calories on the fried stuff and rice so I avoid it unless it's the only thing around to eat.
I always get salads with grilled chicken anywhere I go. Get the light dressing on the side, too.
Taco Bell is my favorite, and I get most anything there and sub the beans for beef. They never put enough cheese on anything to really hurt anyway. The only bummer about TB is they don't serve bottled water and since I don't drink pop that makes it hard sometimes.
You can eat out if you plan the rest of your day and don't go crazy. And remember that a lot of places add TONS of sugar to their salad dressings. I learned that the hard way!
