Bad news...

My WLS journey has once again come to a halt...I had a gastroscopy and colonoscopy two years ago and the idiot lost my biopsy results (enterologist) so now I have to go for another one and this could take up to a year!!! Unless my contacts will be able to help me get it in 1 month..but I doubt it. I am so frustrated and depresed I don't even want to post or do anything right now, but work. I know for a fact I don't have cancer, but some seem to think I do..it's stupid if you don't know why tell someone that GRRRR docs like that really **** me off because they make patient's worry for nothing. Anyway going back to work..I'll be on and off the OH for this week at least.

Sonia - even if that specialist lost your results , all test results are sent to your family physician, not to mention if you had a biopsy a lab was involved....and they will also have a copy. So there are three different places those tests results will be. I suggest you get on the phone and start getting answers.

I've tried everyone..family, clinic, hosp and lab NO one has it and the enterologist won't give it to any one...why because I think he just didn't bother dictating the results. However I will be calling his office today.

Have your PCP DEMAND a copy of the test results. The doctor may not give it to you, but should be able to give it to another doctor.

We've done that already...but my boss (referring specialist and my endo) is going to look into it while he is on call this week then book me himself with someone else if I have to do it again...Thank God I volunteered and worked for him or I'd be totally screwed.
